Woven Bag

Woven bag is a flexible shipping packaging container. It has the advantages of moisture resistance, dust resistance, radiation resistance, firmness and safety, and sufficient strength in structure. Container bags are generally woven with polyester fibers such as polypropylene and polyethylene. These plastic sacks are widely used to pack materials like grains, milling, sugar, fodder, chemical, fertilizer, as well as other applications like cement, sands, metal parts, concrete etc. Classified by plastic material, woven bags mainly have PP woven bag, PE woven bag and OPP woven bag. PP woven bags are stiff and crisp, PE woven bags are smooth and soft, while OPP woven bags are crisp and of high transparency. Woven bags bring great convenience to storage and logistic processes, but improper disposal of waste woven bags produces harm to the environment which is known as “White Pollution”. White pollution not only affects nature’s beauty but also leads to health hazards. Landfill is not a long term solution for this material, because the degradation cycle of plastics is at least 200 years in general. Woven bag recycling is an ideal solution. Some popular recycling machines like woven bag shredder is an good option to make whole recycling process easier.
Recycling and re-use of plastic woven bags contribute to economic prosperity and continuity through cost savings on raw material and resource conservation. Size reduction is an important step in woven bag’s recycling process. The collected waste woven bags are shredded or granulated into small pieces and then further get washed, separated and dried. At last, the cleaned pieces are melted down and made into new products.
