High-speed mixers in Laboratory applications

Working Principle

The working principle of the high-speed mixer is to drive the main shaft to rotate through the electric motor, driving the rotating blades for high-speed mixing. The material rises along the conical wall of the mixing tank under the action of centrifugal force, forming a cyclonic movement, so as to realize the uniform mixing of the material. At the same time, the temperature of the material during mixing can be controlled by adjusting the cooling water and the amount of hot water.


Mixing tank: a conical container composed of milling disk, shell and top cover, etc. The top cover is equipped with the inlet of material and binding agent, and the structure of milling disk is jacketed for cooling water and hot water to pass through.
Rotating blades: special shaped mixing paddles, installed on the main shaft, can change different speeds, so that the material is fully mixed.
Transmission device: it is composed of electric motor, belt wheel and reducer box, and the electric motor is usually of variable speed regulation type.
Discharging door: the discharging mechanism installed on the side of the mixing tank, from which the mixed materials are discharged.
Cooling and heating device: it is composed of cooling water compartment, hot water tank, cooling and hot water circulating basin, etc. It is used to regulate the temperature of the materials during mixing.
